Pineapple Matcha Smoothie
INGREDIENTS
1 cup coconut milk
1 cup frozen pineapple
1/4 fresh or frozen sliced banana
1 tablespoon hemp seeds
1/2 cup frozen/fresh spinach
1 teaspoon matcha powder
1 teaspoon lime juice or 1/2 small lime squeezed
1 serving vanilla protein powder
DIRECTIONS:
SERVINGS: 1-2 PREP/COOK TIME: 5 MINUTES
Blend all ingredients for at least 30 seconds until smooth.
*Optional - Top with unsweetened shredded coconut and fresh lime and serve.

This smoothie is my FAVORITE of all smoothies and that is because it tastes like a pina colada! You’ve got the lime, the coconut and then the sweetness from the pineapple and banana just makes this the perfect drink to bring all the summer vibes.

Then we have the matcha, it is exactly what you need to bring on a calm energy to boost your day. I am very sensitive to caffeine so I actually prefer a matcha to coffee if I am needing an energy boost! This recipe completely works without the matcha in case you aren’t looking for an energy boost too!
Another twist on this recipe is to turn it into a smoothie bowl! Some of my favorite toppings include: shredded coconut, bee pollen, hemp seeds, granola, nuts, chia seeds, fresh fruit, and so many more!
PRO TIP: for making this into a smoothie bowl would be to add a little less water and a little more banana to help thicken it.
